After Hours Movers:

Wendy’s (NASDAQ:WEN) 16% HIGHER; Nelson Peltz, a longtime shareholder of Trian Fund Management, said he was considering a potential transaction, including a possible merger.

Nordstrom (NYSE:JWN) 12% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of ($0.06), $0.01 lower than analysts’ estimate of ($0.05). Revenue for the quarter was $3.57 billion versus consensus estimate of $3.27 billion. Nordstrom sees FY2022 EPS of $3.20 to $3.50, versus consensus of $3.12.

Calers (NYSE: CAL) 12% HIGHER; reported first-quarter EPS of $1.32, $0.49 better than analysts’ estimate of $0.83. Revenue for the quarter was $735.1 million versus consensus estimate of $677.28 million. The company now expects consolidated sales levels to increase between 2% and 5% from fiscal 2021 and expects earnings per diluted share to be between $4.20 and 4. $40, which is another year of record or near-record profits for the organization.

Chinook Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: KDNY) 7% LESS; launched a subscribed public offering of its ordinary shares,

Toll Brothers (NYSE:TOL) 4% HIGHER; said Q2 EPS of $1.85, $0.31 better than analysts’ estimate of $1.54. Revenue for the quarter was $2.28 billion versus consensus estimate of $2.06 billion. Backlog value was $11.7 billion at the end of the second quarter, up 35% from the second quarter of fiscal 2021; overdue homes were 11,768, up 16%.

Intuit (NASDAQ: INTU) 3% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $7.65, $0.07 better than analysts’ estimate of $7.58. Revenue for the quarter was $5.6 billion versus consensus estimate of $5.51 billion. Intuit forecasts full-year 2022 EPS of $11.68 to $11.74, versus consensus of $11.66. Intuit forecasts revenue of $12.633 billion to $12.674 billion for fiscal 2022, versus consensus of $12.32 billion.

Trevi Therapeutics (NASDAQ: TRVI) 3% HIGHER; Oppenheimer initiates a hedge with an outperform rating and a price target of $10.

Macy’s, Inc. (NYSE: M) 2% HIGHER; benefits from the strong results of its counterpart Nordstrom

Agilent Technologies (NYSE:A) 2% HIGHER; said Q2 EPS of $1.13, $0.09 better than analysts’ estimate of $1.04. Revenue for the quarter was $1.61 billion versus consensus estimate of $1.5 billion. Agilent Technologies forecasts Q3 2022 EPS of $1.20 to $1.22, versus consensus of $1.12. Agilent Technologies expects third-quarter 2022 revenue of $1.625 billion to $1.65 billion, versus consensus of $1.56 billion.
